A South African
collector was reported to have bought a famous New Zealand baton online
earlier this month. (June 2005) It was the police baton used by commander
Ross Meurant in the springbok tour protest in 1981. Meurant was second in
command of "Red Square', the police group set up to deal with
protesters. I would be very keen to
contact the collector who bought this baton and find out a bit about their
collection, what interested them in this piece etc. Do you have any idea who it might be, or is there any way I

Q - Hello, I want to know if you are able to tell me about or to sell me the named ammunition. It`s for my "Arisaka"-carbine and at ours we can`t get this cartridges. Thanks Internet it`s very interesting to contact well known people in this theme. If it`s possible to buy I´m happy :-) If not, perhaps it`s possible to tell me somebody who can help me. I`m curious. P.S. If the cartridges are empty, so of powder etc., it doesn`t matters. I`m allowed to reload them. With the best regards
