- Questionnaire: (Provide answers on a separate sheet, all
responses will be treated in the strictest of confidence) 1. How did you learn about
SAAACA's existence ? 2. Have you ever applied to
any other Region or Branch of SAAACA for membership ? (provide full details). 3. Detail what prompted
you to apply for membership of SAAACA ? 4. Detail what you
collect, define and categorise your specific interest/s. 5. How long have you been
collecting Arms, Ammunition or related items ? 6. How many other active
and / or serious Collectors do you know and meet with regularly ? (provide details). 7. Supply the names and
contact details of two personal references, other than those proposing your application for
membership. 8. Detail what YOU believe
to be the most interesting aspect/s of your collection. 9. Should you be come a
member and / or recognised Collector and thus were in a position to obtain a firearm which previously
was unavailable to you, detail which Arm you would purchase and why. 10. In terms of serious
collecting, would you say that: a). Most of the
items you possess have just accumulated over the years, or, b). Your
collection consists of items that you have deliberately set out to acquire ? (provide details). 11. Should you become a
member of SAAACA, detail: a). What
benefits you hope to derive from such membership, and,
member ? 12. Have you ever
experienced any difficulties in licensing an Arm ? If so, detail: a). What was
the Arm for which you required the license ? b). What was
the stated purpose for acquiring the Arm ? c). What was the
nature of the difficulty encountered in obtaining the license ? 13. Where previously
convicted of a Firearm or Violence related Offence/s, indicate the date/s of the conviction/s. 14. If not a 'Collector'
in terms of the numbers of Arms owned, or quantities of literature held on
the subject, what are your
particular collecting interests and to what extent would you think that membership of SAAACA will
assist you in pursuing your interests ? 15. Are you already a
'Bona Fide' Hunter or Sportsman ? If so, detail what
benefits you see for yourself in being a Certified Collector ? 16. If not a Bona Fide
Hunter or Sportsman, motivate why your purposes would not be better served by becoming a Certified
Hunter or Sportsman. 17. Do you have any other
