Marking Cartridges |
||||
|
These are merely ball cartridges with paint on the bullet. They are not factory marked but done on a unit level. When the bullet strikes a target some of the paint would be left on the edges of the hole the bullet made thus enabling instructors or referees in training to establish which team had hit the target and how many times. |

These dummies were made up especially for defense shows.
They are inert bullets, magnetic, probably just painted ball bullets in
empty, un-primed cases.

These are the cores inside the explosive bullets. They have aguilding metal jacket covering them and thus they look like ball cartridges once they have been loaded. Several models were tried, all were experimental, none were adopted. |
